For some reason a funny old memory keeps popping in my head. Dave was supposed to be watching the kids on a Friday while I was at work. I don't really remember their ages but for sure it was at least grade school or younger. I am not sure where Brian and Kyla were in this memory but I don't think they were at home or if they were they just let the little ones do this.
Dave's method of "watching kids" was to sleep in. Well Jill and Kelli thought they would surprise him and fix him breakfast in bed. They had been warned that they could not cook AT ALL without adult supervision so they did the next best thing. They woke him with the most lovely breakfast of cold fish sticks, a can of beer and had picked some flowers and put them in a vase.
Ha, ha! He choked down ALL of it (except the beer).

I still think that was rather clever. The problem is, I still "cook" like that. Can you please tell Wade that I'm not allowed to cook at all unless you're with me??? Please? Get me off the hook with this cooking business that I'm so not friends with!
That's hilarious. Tell Dave I'm impressed cuz I don't know that I could have done it. Served him right for sleeping in!
And Jill, I don't think Wade will go for it, but I guess you can try. ;) Perhaps a cooking class might be a better bet!
hahaha, well, atleast they weren't the ones drinking the beer, guess they knew it was Daddy's hahaha
What a nice dad! I don't remember this particular breakfast in bed, but I do remember one for you I think that was just yogurt and milk I believe. What creative children!
