We spent Halloween at Dave's parents home. I fixed dinner for Dave and his parents since not only was it Dave's birthday but it was also Max and Delpha's anniversary of 59 years. Wow! I think that maybe this is the last year to try to celebrate both on the same day as Halloween because it is just becoming harder to get everyone together at the same time because all the little ones need to be out trick-or-treating too. Maybe we can do it the night before or after next year.
Here is little Max, the newest addition to the Evans family. He is Brett and Jenny's little sweet pea. He is such a little dolly.
Charo spent a little time on Saturday with us and as you can see Byron loved her glasses. Anyone with glasses has to be on guard as he is quick as can be ripping them off of your face. Just ask Dave and GG (Delpha). He also knew she was a softy and began climbing on the arm of the futon and jumping (or rather free-falling) on her. He is busy as can be and on the run.Emma kept busy wrapping a birthday gift for me and making a turkey for my refrigerator. She is such a great little helper with cookie baking and helping with the little ones.
Lucy and Byron checking on the chickens. I let them gather the eggs but between the two of them they were flying in the basket. We came out with only two broken eggs...not bad for a couple of two-year-olds.
Lucy is now into making lots of faces. Aunt Kelli is teaching her some beauties. Thanks to Aunt Kelli, Byron sticks his food out of his mouth when he see her. Poor Jill! We used to blame all of the bad habits on Brian but now we know.

Ha ha I love the little story book for Lucy, that's very cute! Also thats a cute picture of Max and Gram, I think I should print it out for her, she'd like it!
I love the little book. How cute is that!? Kelli has some great faces to teach Lucy- just beautiful!
I LOVE her story!!! I can't stop cracking up! Strangely, I think that's how Wade won me over--"I can give you babies, baby!" Oh Emmy cracks me up.
That story is priceless, as is Jill's comment :)
