Just a few funny things that Lucy has been saying lately that I need to write down. My old age does not permit me to keep these in my head for long.
- *She sings a lot of songs right now and one of them is "I'm A Little Teapot" which she sings as "I'm A Little Teatot".
- *While Kelli was painting Lucy's toenails and fingernails the other day she told Kelli "I like to scraaaatch" as she stretched her arms above her head.
- *Dave's mom made some cupcakes last Sunday for a dinner we were having when his cousin Lee Ann was visiting. Lucy didn't want to eat her dinner and kept asking for a "pupcake". I told her she needed to eat some dinner first and she put her hands on my cheeks and said "Grandma I love you"....."I want a pupcake and cookie". Well she almost had me with that one.
- *Everything right now is "jusa cause I'm a big girl" or "maybe da later" or "I go to predaschool". I love how she adds a "d" to words right now.
- *She loves to watch the movie "Babe" but she calls it "Pig and Goose". The other day I asked her what the sheep says and she said "Baaa Ram Ewe" like in the movie.

Hi Vonda,
Thanks for the wonderful pix and stories. You are one lucky grandma, I appreciate that you let me share them once in a while. I have a funny story to share. Recently Lucy and I were watching Cinderella (for the millionth and one times?) and poor Cindy was crying in the garden because of those mean stepsisters. Lucy got right in front of the TV and held her hands palm down in front of herself at about chest height and slowly moved her hands up and down a few inches, saying,"Deep breaths, Cinderella, Deep breaths." I asked her about it and she said that that is what she did whenever she was crying. Amazingly enough, Cinderella soon stopped crying. Yup, Amazing!
I loved the pink dress and shoes, they were so adorable. You got some wonderful shots!
I got to take Emma and a couple other girls her age to see Kit Kittredge. I know I would never have enjoyed it so much without them. It is wonderful just to listen to them talk, I realize how much time I didn't take with my kids like that when they were little. (Though I thought at the time, I did.)
Hope you are well,
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
Thank you for letting me know this story. It is really cute and so typical of Lucy right now. I know the girls really love you and Emma said she loved seeing Kit Kittredge with you. We are going to begin reading the series of books together.
